Who can Apply for Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) at HEC?

The test is being organized for applications who:

• Have already applied online for any MS/ MPhil & PhD admission OR HEC scholarship (Hungary, etc.)

• Intend to apply for the scholarship schemes advertised in future, including those by HEC sponsored Pakistani Universities.

• Are interested in securing admission in MS/ MPhil & PhD programmes in public and private universities of Pakistan.

Test score will be valid for 2 years (for scholarships and admission I MS/ MPhil & PhD).

Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) at HEC date of Examination

• The test will tentatively be held on January 28^th, 2023. Any change in thest date will be communicated through www.hec.gov.pk and http://etc.hec.gov.pk
• Applications who register through HEC online registration process will be able to download their Roll Number Slip from http://hec.gov.pk and registered Email address a week before the test date.
• Emal / SMS will also be sent to registered applicants for test date, time and venue. While filling out online application forms, candidates are required to provide valid Emil/ mobile numbers on which thy wish to received Roll Number Slips.
• A printout of Roll Number slip and Original CNIC will be required to enter the test center on the Test Day.

How to Apply Who can Apply for Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) at HEC?

• Visit the following link http://etc.hec.gov.pk tor online registration
• in case of difficulty during online registration, visit https://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk/
• 0nly SUBMITTED applications will be considered for HAT Test and applications in SAVE or  INCOMPETE mode will not be entertained.
• Test fee of  2000/- is to be deposited via 1Link , 1Bill invoice participating Banks/ATM/internet
• Banking/Mobile Banking/Easypaisa/JazCash/Upais.
• Once you have selected 1link 1bill Invoice payment service. Open /sign-in to your mobile app and click on Bill payment or payment services (as per your mobile banking app option).
• Click on 1Bill invoice payment services and enter the consumer number generated by the ETC portal. Once you see the details, pay the amount.
• Alter depositing the fee through 1link 1Bill Invoice, click on Verify Online Payment on ETC Dashboard.
• The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• The candidates must get queries/complaints resolved before the closure of the web registration portal. Queries/complaints handling beyond the registration deadline is denied by the system due to logistics/security reasons.
